Visiting our Designer Outlet could not be easier.
Bradgate Brides is not a usual outlet. We pride ourself in excellent customer service even though the gowns are up to 75% off RRP and we like to serve our brides personally.
No appointments are required and we are open 6 days a week, for large parts of the year, including some bank holidays, (always check near to each holiday for confirmation of opening times).
We would recommend not bringing more than a couple of visitors with you as it makes any decision very hard for a bride with a large number of guests as every person has a totally different perspective of what you should look like on your wedding day and you cannot expect one person to like the same style as another. We feel that it is also not very comfortable for other customers if there are too many people pulling gowns out altogether and we wish every bride to have a lovely time with us.
Please note. Buggies and prams are not allowed into the main bridal room and these have to be left in reception unsupervised . We also have a large number of gowns on our upper floors and stairs have to be climbed and these are not suitable for buggies or for young children to climb.
If you are disabled in any way and you may feel the stairs cannot be used, please call ahead and we shall bring suitable gowns down to our ground floor for you to view.
The trying on of bridal gowns takes time and in our many years of experience any bride will never feel comfortable with young children running around constantly and it is also not the right environment where children can feel free especially as no drink and food is allowed near the gowns.
Clear filtered water is always available for yourself and your guests.
We would recommend leaving at least 1 to 2 hours for your trying on visit. However you are very welcome to pop in at any time and a member of staff will show you all around our four floors . Many brides also book into our current season main bridal suite on the third floor for a one to one consultation after browsing through the gowns in there.
Just call for any information or keep an eye out on our main website for new dress styles arriving.
Because we run a no appointment system in our Designer outlet, please be aware that some days it gets busy and you may have to wait for a while. Our stylists do not like to rush brides and wish to assist as much as possible so if that is the case ask the manageress how long it will likely to be and she will find out for you. In most cases it is only a few minutes and brides are very welcome to look through the rails and place coloured rings onto gowns they wish to try on ready for a stylist to become free.
There are many coffee shops in the Nook, Anstey and after finding a lovely gown you may wish to go and have a chat with your party members and discuss your choice of gown before placing your deposit which is totally understandable.
You can hold any gown with a £50 non refundable deposit for up to 14 days.
Beautiful bridal bags can be purchased for £10 or £5 to ensure the safe collection of your gown. Alternatively you may wish to bring a large light coloured duvet cover for taking your gown home in.
I would suggest wearing light coloured underwear for trying on wedding gowns and if you have a shoe with a good heel height easy to slip on and off this will make it easier in the changing room for you and to view any alteration length requirements.
Bradgate Brides take debit, credit cards and cash. NO American Express or cheques are accepted. We can take a BACS transfer.
